Huangshan – Qiandao Lake by High Speed Train

Introduction

It is very convenient travel between Huangshan & Qiandaohu by rail, as there are frequent high speed trains linking them in just 45 mins.

There are numerous trains running between Huangshan and Qiandaohu, all of which are using Huangshan North & Qiandaohu Railway Station.

At Huangshan North Station (Huangshanbei), which is 50 km  from the southern gate of Huangshan Scenic Area in Tangkou. passengers can take a shuttle bus from the adjacent Huangshan Tourism Passenger Transport Hub to Tangkou. The bus fare to Tangkou is ¥23, and the journey takes about 50 minutes.

At Qiandaohu Railway Station, passengers can connect to a local shuttle bus to the town’s cener or the hotels in 30 mins.

Journey between Huangshan and Qiandaohu has been made easy, as there are convenient high-speed rail options available. Departing from Huangshan North Station (Huangshanbei), there are 31 daily trains heading to Qiandaohu Railway Station, with a travel time ranging from about 35 to 49 minutes. Ticket prices vary, with second class starting at ¥48, first class at ¥76, and business class at ¥143.

On the return journey from Qiandaohu to Huangshan, there are 28 daily trains departing from Qiandaohu station and arriving at Huangshan North station. The travel duration ranges from approximately 36 to 54 minutes, and ticket prices are the same as the Huangshan to Qiandaohu route.

Bus to Tangkou from Huangshan North

Huangshan Tourism Passenger Transport Hub
From Huangshan North Station to Tangkou, you can take the bus from the nearby Huangshan Tourism Passenger Transport Hub, which runs from 8:00 to 20:20 every day, every 30 minutes in peak season and every hour in low season, the fare is 23 yuan per person, and the journey takes 50 minutes.

Huangshan North Railway Station

Huangshan North Station (Huangshanbei Station) is located in Xixi South Town, Huizhou District, Huangshan City, Anhui Province. It opened on June 28, 2015, along with the Hefei – Fuzhou High Speed Railway Line. The station is about 10 km from the old Huangshan Railway Station, 11 km from Tunxi District (the city government location), 50 km from Huangshan Scenic Area, and only 7 km from Tunxi International Airport.

If you want to travel by train to Huangshan, you need to know that there are three train stations in Huangshan City:

Among them, Huangshan North Station and Huangshan West Station are high-speed train stations, while Huangshan Station is a old train station for slow trains. Huangshanxi Station is currently under construction and is expected to open in 2024.

Qiandaohu Railway Station

Qiandaohu Railway Station (Qiandao Lake Train Station), formerly known as Chun’an Station, is located in Wenchang Village, Chun’an County, approximately 20 kilometers from Chun’an County in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province. It started operation on December 25, 2018, with a station layout featuring 2 platforms and 6 tracks.
