Hong Kong – Yangshuo by High Speed Train
Currently. there are no direct high speed trains linking Yangshuo and Hong Kong. Passengers have to make a train connection at Shenzhen or Guangzhou and transfer to Yangshuo Town by bus from Gongcheng (Gongcheng Train Station) or Xingping (Yangshuo Train Station). But the good news is that it will be possible to travel from Hong Kong to Yangshuo by direct bullet train in Q3 of 2018 when the West Kowloon Station open service. So, you have 3 route options:

- 1. Hong Kong – Shenzhen – Guangzhou – Yangshuo Train Station – Yangshuo Town (Recommended See: Guangzhou to Yangshuo page)
- 2. Hong Kong – Shenzhen North – Yangshuo (recommended, see Shenzhen to Yangshuo train)
- 3. Hong Kong – Shenzhen – Guangzhou – Gongcheng – Yangshuo Town
- 4. Hong Kong – Shenzhen – Gongcheng – Yangshuo Town
No matter which option you choose, you will have to make a transfer by bus to Yangshuo Town from Gongcheng or Xingping (Yangshuo Train Station)

Hong Kong – Shenzhen by MTR & Metro
You can take the Hong Kong MTR and Shenzhen metro service:
From Hong Kong to Shenzhen: Take Hong Kong’s East Rail Line MTR to Lok Ma Chau station first, and walk across the border into Futian Checkpoint station on Shenzhen side, from where you can take metro line 4 to Shenzhen North Railway Station. There is one daily direct high speed train from Shenzhen North to Yangshuo (see Shenzhen to Yangshuo train page). If you miss the direc train, you can travel to Guangzhou South, from where catch a bullet train to Yangshuo.
From Shenzhen to Hong Kong: Just do as explained above in a oppisite direction.

Shenzhen – Guangzhou by High Speed Train
Most of the high speed trains between Shenzhen and Guangzhou are using Shenzhen North Railway Station and Futian Railway Station in Shenzhen, and Guangzhou South Railway Station in Guangzhou. Guangzhou – Yangshuo by High Speed Train
There are 14 high speed trains daily running from Guangzhou South Railway Station to Xingping (Yangshuo Railway Station) and 11 from Yangshuo Railway Station to Guangzhou South. For more details, just refer to Guangzhou – Yangshuo train page
Gongcheng – Yangshuo by Bus
There are buses linking Gongcheng Town with Yangshuo Town. If your train stops at Gongcheng Railway Station, just walk out of the station and look for the yellow public bus outside, which will drive you from Gongcheng Railway Station to Gongcheng Bus Station in 15 mins (ticket fare is CNY3). Then take a bus from Gongcheng Bus Station to Yangshuo Town in 1h10mins to 1h20mins. The bus from Gongcheng will drop you off at Yangshuo High-Speed Rail Bus Station, then you need to catch a local bus to reach the Town center (West Street, 5 mins, CNY1).
