Chaoshan Railway Station: Shantou & Chaozhou
Chaoshan Railway Station is a high speed train station on the Xiamen – Shenzhen High Speed Railway serving the cities of Shantou, Jieyang and Chaozhou in Eastern Guangdong Province. It is located in Shaxi Town in Chaoan District within Chaozhou City, about 20km from Chaozhou and 30km from Shantou. It began operations on December 28 of 2013.
Chaoshan Railway Station has 4 platforms with 10 rail tracks for trains departing for different destinations and 10 auto-ticketing machines, covering an area of 10000 squares.

As of eaily 2019, Chaoshan Train Station is serving as a terminus station for the G-class high speed trains along the Guangzhou-Chaoshan route as well as the D-class high speed trains on the Xiamen-Shenzhen HRS route, with high speed train service to or from Guangzhou South, Dongguan, Shenzhen North, Hong Kong West Kowloon, Huizhou South, Shanwei, Puning, Zhangzhou, Xiamen, Fuzhou, Hangzhou, and Shanghai, etc.

Getting to Chaoshan Train Station
You can get to Chaoshan Railway Station by taxi or local public bus.
From Chaozhou to Chaoshan Station: You can take the local bus k1, k2, k3, k5 to Chaoshan Railway Station.
From Shantou to Chaoshan Station: You can take bus 181 or 181b to get to Chaoshan Railway Station.
Note: You can also travel between Chaoshan Train Station and Shantou Railway Station by train in just 25 minutes. There are 14 trains daily.
