Shantou Train Station
Shantou Train Station is located on Taishan Lu in Longhu District of Shantou City in eastern Guangdong Province, South China. It used to be a train station only serving regular trains, but now comes to serve high speed trains as well after refurbishment in July of 2019. Currently, Shantou Railway Station serves high speed trains to or from Guangzhou East, Shenzhen North, Hong Kong West Kowloon, Puning, Chaoyang, Chaoshan, Dongguan, Shanwei, etc. But Shantou Railway Station has fewer services compared to Chaoshan Railway Station, which is a bit far from Shantou urban area.

How to Get to Shantou Railway Station
There are around 26 public bus routes linking Shantou Railway Station, just to name a few of them: Bus K1, K2, K3, K4, K5, K6, K7, 102K, Bus 4, 6, 8, 11, 12, etc.
From Chaoshan Railway Station to Shantou Railway Station: As Chaoshan Railway Station has more high speed trains over Shantou Railway Station, a number of travelers will choose Chaoshan Railway Station other than Shantou Railway Station. Then after getting off at Chaoshan Railway Station, you can also get on a train from Chaoshan to Shantou Railway Station, which allows you to get to Shantou urban area directly.
Shantou Train Station – Chenghai Toys Market
From Shantou Railway Station, you can take bus 102K to Chenghai Toys Market in 47 minutes. If by taxi, it will cost you from 50 yuan and take 35 minutes.
Shantou – Yiwu by High Speed Train
There are no any direct high speed trains or regular trains linking Shantou and Yiwu. You will have to make a transfer at Fuzhou, Guangzhou or Wenzhou. I would recommend you to transfer at Fuzhou Railway Station (Chaoshan – Fuzhou – Yiwu).
From Shantou to Yiwu: Take a taxi or bus from Shantou to Chaoshan Railway Station first, then get on a high speed train to Fuzhou Railway Station in 3 hours, then change to a high speed train from Fuzhou to Yiwu in 3 hours.
