Jiashan South Railway Station
Jiashan South Railway Station (Jiashan Nan, JiashanNan嘉善南站) is an intermediate stop along the Shanghai – Hangzhou Passenger Railway, serving high speed trains (G, D trains). It is located in Jiangjia Village, Dayun Town, Jiashan County and has two platforms and three floors. Passengers can use this train station to take a high speed train to or from Shanghai, Hangzhou, Yiwu, Ningbo, Nanjing, Hefei, Fuzhou, Xiamen etc. (See Jiashan Train Schedule)

Jiashan Railway Station
Jiashan Railway Station (嘉善站), first built in 1909, is an old train station along the Shanghai – Kunming Railway and located in Tingqiao North Road in Jiashan County. This train station is mainly operating ordinary trains (K type) including the K trains to or from Shanghai South, Hangzhou East, Yiwu, Jinhua, Jiaxing, Nanchang, etc. (See Jiashan Train Schedule)

Xitang Water Town
Xitang Water Town is an attraction that you should not miss during your travel in Jiashan. The ancient scenic town is located 10 km north of Jiashan Cunty. You can get to Xitang by bus K222 from Jiashan South, or bus 210 from Jiashan Raiway Station.
Jiashan train stations to Xitang
From Jiashan South: The public bus K222 can take you to the Xitang Water Town directly and the travel time is about 1 hour and ticket fare is 2 yuan per person. The bus departs every 40 – 60 minutes. (See stops on this route). You can also take a taxi, which may cost you 20 – 25 yuan.
From Jiashan Railway Station: When get exit out of Jiashan Railway Station, just go to take the K210 bus to Xitang Water Town (CNY2 per person, 40 – 45 minutes). The bus depart every 25 – 40 minutes and the last bus depart at 17:40. You can also take a private minivan, which will cost you 30 – 40 yuan. (see K210 bus stops).

By train
It is easy to travel from Shanghai to Xitang Water Town. You can travel by train or bus to Jiashan first. Taking a train would be a pleasant journey. There are over 30 trains running between Shanghai and Jiashan.
The D and G type high speed trains are using Shanghai Hongqiao and Jiashan South. Journey time is 23 – 35 minutes and the cost is from 20.5 yuan for a 2nd class seat on D train, and 29.5 yuan on G train.
If your hotel is near Shanghai South Railway Station, you can start your journey at this station, in which there are about 6 – 7 daily trains (normal train, K type) to Jiashan Railway Station.

Hangzhou – Xitang Jiashan by Bus
You can also travel from Hangzhou to Xitang and back by bus. Just take a bus from Hangzhou Passenger Transport Center (杭州客运中心站) and get off at the terminal at Xitang Bus Station (also called Jiashan North Bus Station, 嘉善汽车北站 or 西塘汽车站). Journey time is 1.5 hours and fare is 38 – 45 yuan per person. The buses run between 06:55 – 18:15 (16 buses daily), every 20 – 50 minutes.
