Xiamen to Putuoshan Transport Guide
Since there are no direct high-speed trains from Xiamen to Putuoshan, you will need to make a transfer in Ningbo. Firstly, take a train from Xiamen to Ningbo, then a bus from Ningbo South Coach Terminal to Zhujiajian Wugongzhi Wharf, from where there are frequent ferries to Mount Putuoshan.

From Ningbo South to Zhujiajian
At Ningbo South Coach Terminal, you will find buses heading to Zhujiajian Wugongzhi Pier (朱家尖蜈蚣峙码头), which is the gateway to Putuoshan. The bus ride takes about 1.5 to 2 hours, and tickets are approximately 72 RMB. The buses operate from 05:50 to 18:20, with departures every 30 minutes to 1 hour.
