 Huangshan – Yixian Train Schedule, Fares & Duration

As of January of 2024, there are 7-9 bullet trains running between Huangshan & Yi County, and the bullet trains are useing Huangshan North Station (Huangshanbei) and Yixian East Station (Yixiandong), which is just 3 km from Xidi Village & 15 km from Hongcun Village. It will be easier to visit these attractions.

Nanchang – Jingdezhen – Huangshan HSR

The Nanchang-Jingdezhen-Huangshan High-Speed Railway is a high-speed railway that connects Nanchang  and Jingdezhen in Jiangxi Province with Huangshan & Yixian in Anhui Province. It has 10 stations, including Nanchang East and Nanchang West, Jiangxi’s Jinxian North, Yugan, Poyang, Le’an North, Jingdezhen North, Fuliang East, Qimen South, Yixian East and Huangshan North stations. The designed operating speed is 350 km/h.

Train Stations in Huangshan

here are three train stations in Huangshan City, Anhui Province:

1. Huangshan North Station: This station is a high-speed railway station. It was opened on June 28, 2015, and is located in Changlin Village, Xintan Town, Tunxi District. This is the most useful station for tourists.

2. Huangshan Railway Station: This station mainly operates normal trains or night trains.

3. Huangshan West Station: This station is a newly built high-speed railway station, which is currently under construction and is expected to start operating in 2024.

Yixian East Railway Station

Yixian East Railway Station (Yixiandong Train Station, Yixian Dong) is located near Ye Village in Xidi Town, Yixian County, Huangshan City, Anhui Province.

It boasts an extremely ideal location, with Xidi Stone Forest Scenic Area just about 1 kilometer away, Xidi Ancient Villages about 3 kilometers away, Hongcun Ancient Village Scenic Area about 15 kilometers away, and Qiyun Mountain Scenic Area about 10 kilometers away. The station is easily accessible by transportation. When Yixian East Railway Station is completed.

When to Buy Tickets

Tickets can be booked up to 15 days on the official 12306 China Railway website. It is always advisable to buy tickets in advance to secure ticket availability or seat assignment. Ticets tend to sell out quickly especially during the bussy travel peak period, such as the public National Days (Gold Week), Labour’s Days, Chinese Moon Festival or Qingming Festival.
