Chongqing – Jiuzhaigou by Train
If you’re planning to travel from Chongqing to Jiuzhaigou by train, you need to take a train to Chengdu East first, then catch a train to Huanglongjiuzhai Railway Station (nearest train station from Jiuzhaigou), from where you can connect to a direct through bus to Jiuzhaigou Valley in 2 hours.

Once you arrive at Chengdu East Station (Chengdudong), you will need to transfer to a train bound for Huanglongjiuzhai Railway Station. There are 5-6 trains daily, and the journey takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.

Step 3: Take a Bus from Huanglongjiuzhai to Jiuzhaigou Valley
Once arriving in Huanglongjiuzhai Station after disembarking from the train, you need to catch a through bus from Huanglongjiuzhai to either Jiuzhaigou Valley or the Huanglong Scenic Area.
Bus tickets can be booked at the ticket office in front of the train station, or buy online through Trip.com, a popular platform affiliated with Ctrip Group, China’s leading online travel agency. It is advisable to book in advance online as the route is very popular.
