How to Get to Kunming Changshui Airport
Kunming Changshui International Airport (KMG) is located between Changshui Village and Huaqing Village in Dabanqiao street in Guandu District, northeast of Kunming, with 24.5 kilometers from Kunming city center.

Kunming Changshui Airport is conviently connected to Kunming metro Line 6 (on Kunming Airport Station) , which is also known as Airport Line connecting Kunming Changshui Airport with the urban center of Kunming. You can also travel to others places of Kunming City by making any transfers by metro.
Kunming South Railway Station – Kunming Changshui Airport
From Kunming South Railway Station (KunmingNan) to airport: you can just take metro Line 4 to Juhua Station first, then change to Line 6 to get to Kunming Changshui Airport. The total journey time is about 1h16m. If you take a taxi from South Railway Station to the airport, it wiil cost you about 77-100 yuan. The distance between Kunming South Station and airport is 45 kilometers.
Kunming Railway Station – Kunming Airport
From Kunming Train Station to Changshui Airport: Just take metro Line 1 from Kunming Railway Station to South Ring Road (环城南路) first, from where you connect to line 2 to get to Tangzixiang Station (塘子巷). Then just change to Line 6 to get to Kunming Airport. The total travel time is about 50 minutes. If you take a taxi, it will cost you 70 – 100 yuan.
Gennerally speaking, Kunming Railway Station is a better choice than Kunming South Railway Station in terms of getting to Kunming Changshui Airport, as it is more close to the airport.
