High Speed Train Station near Badaling Great Wall
Badaling Changcheng Railway Station (Badalingchangcheng) in Yanqing District of Beijing is a new high speed train station on Beijing – Zhangjiakou Intercity Railway, close to the famous Badaling Great Wall, serving high speed trains to or from Beijing North Railway Station, Zhangjiakou South Railway Station, even Datong South Station. It makes it possible to visit Badaling Great Wall by bullet train from Beijing, Datong, Zhangjiakou, Hohhot, Pingyao, Taiyuan, etc.
Badaling Changcheng Station is an enormous underground train station, and will open along with Beijing – Zhangjiakou Intercity Railway at the end of 2019. It is closely located east of the World Cultural Heritage – Badaling Great Wall. It has four tracks and two platforms covering an area of 36 thousand square meters.
When completed, it will be possible to travel from Beijing North Station to Badaling Great Wall by bullet train in just 20 minutes.
Curretly, you can just only get from Beijing’s Huangtudian Railway Station to Badaling Great Wall by S2 train before the end of 2019 when the new train route opens.
