Shenzhen – Dongguan & Humen by High Speed Train
As Dongguan is adjacent to Shenzhen, it is very convenient to travel between Shenzhen and Dongguan. High speed train is the most favoured way to travel between them as the trains are frequent, fast, comfortable and time-effective. These bullet trains are using different train stations in Dongguan or Shenzhen, and you’d better figure out what is your origin station or terminal station befor taking the train. 1: Shenzhen North & Futian – Humen by High Speed Train
The fastest way to travel between Shenzhen and Dongguan is to take the Shenzhen-Humen G-class high speed train using Shenzhen North Station (Shenzhen Bei) and Shenzhen Futian Station in Shenzhen, and Humen Railway Station in Dongguan, and taking just 17 minutes.
- Shenzhen North Station: by metro line 4 and line 5 (use Shenzhen metro route planner)
- Shenzhen Futian Station: by metro line 2, line 3, line 11 (use Shenzhen metro route planner)
- Humen Railway Station: by rail transit line 2

From Shenzhen to Humen: About 70 G-class high speed trains run from Shenzhen North, or 9 from Shenzhen Futian to Humen Railway Station, taking just 17 – 28 minutes.
From Humen to Shenzhen: Most the trains from Humen arrive at Shenzhen North Station, with just only one terminating at Shenzhen Futian Station, which is centrally-located in CBD of Futian.

How to Take a Train from Humen Dongguan
2: Shenzhen – Dongguan by C-class High Speed Train
Dongguan Railway Station also a train station that serves Dongguan with C-class high speed trains to or from Shenzhen Railway Station, which is located in Luohu in Shenzhen and operating the Guangzhou – Shenzhen Intercity Train service, nearby the Hong Kong border. The C trains takes 45 minutes to finish the journey and costs from 53.5 yuan.

Chanping Railway Station located in Changping Town in Dongguan City is also a frequent used train station, which has C-class high speed trains to or from Shenzhen Railway Station (Luohu), as well as the Guangzhou-Kowloon Hong Kong Through Train service.

Zhangmoutou Railway Station is a train station that serves Zhangmutou Town in Dongguan City, which has C-class high speed trains to or from Shenzhen Railway Station in Luohu, nearby Hong Kong border. There are just over 70 C trains running between Shenzhen and Zhangmutou, taking about 25 minutes.
