Step 1: Arrive at Yixian East Railway Station
Yixian East Railway Station (Yixiandong) is the nearest high-speed rail station to Hongcun and the neighboring Xidi Village. It has trains to or from Huangshan North, Huangshan West, Shanghai, Beijing, Hangzhou, Hefei and Nanjing. The station is strategically located, approximately 14 minutes from Huangshan North Station and 17 minutes from Huangshan West Station by train.
Note: Though Yixian East is nearest to Hongcun & Xidi Villages, Huangshan North also has shuttle to or from Hongcun. Moreover, Huangshan North has more train frequency to or from Shanghai, Hangzhou, Nanjing than Yixian.

Step 2: Take the Bus from Yixian East Station to Hongcun
Upon arriving at Yixian East Railway Station (Yixiandong), you can catch the No. 10 bus directly to Hongcun. The bus ride takes approximately 40 minutes and costs 8 yuan per person. The bus route includes several stops, such as Xidi Scenic Area, Guangde Kingdom, Shuhua Town, Saijin Flower, and Qishu Lake, before reaching Hongcun Bus Station.
