How to Visit LEGOLAND Shanghai Resort

LEGOLAND Shanghai Resort opened on July 5, 2025 in Fengjing Town, Jinshan District. Designed for families with children aged 2–12, the park combines LEGO creativity with Chinese themes and is a great day-trip or overnight destination from central Shanghai.

 Quick Overview

The resort features 8 themed zones and over 75 attractions, rides, and shows, including roller coasters, water rides, 4D theaters, and LEGO building areas. Highlights include:

  • Monkie Kid Zone – inspired by the Chinese hero Sun Wukong, this is the world’s first LEGO zone based on a Chinese theme.

  • LEGO Castle – a medieval world with the popular Dragon Coaster and knight shows.

  • LEGO City – kids can get their “driving license” or join the Fire Academy to save the city.

  • MINILAND Shanghai – a miniature LEGO version of the city’s skyline and landmarks.

The park’s design integrates Chinese architecture and water-town scenery, making it a one-of-a-kind LEGO destination in Asia.
