Introduction to the New Intercity Rail Service
The Guangzhou-Foshan East Ring Intercity Railway is scheduled to open by the end of 2025, offering a game-changing link for foreign visitors leaving the Canton Fair for Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport (CAN). This high-speed intercity line will run direct trains from Pazhou Railway Station—the closest rail hub to the Canton Fair Complex—to three dedicated airport stations:
- Baiyun Airport East Station (serving the new T3 Terminal),
- Baiyun Airport South Station (serving T1),
- Baiyun Airport North Station (serving T2).
After wrapping up business at the fair, international travelers can simply board the train at Pazhou Railway Station and reach their terminal in just 20–30 minutes, bypassing Guangzhou’s notorious traffic. The same line also stops at Panyu Railway Station (adjacent to Guangzhou South Railway Station), giving you extra flexibility if you are connecting to other high-speed services.
