Nanning Rail Transit Overview
Nanning Rail Transit (南宁轨道交通) is a rapid rail transit that is still under construction in Nanning, the provincal capital of Guangxi Province. The construction begun when the Metro Line 1 started construction on December 29, 2011, and the Line 1 is estimated to operate in 2016. While the Metro Line 2 begun its construction on December 31, 2013 and the construction will be completed in 2017. According to its plan, Nanning will have 8 rail transit lines by 2030.
The rail transit system is officially operated by Nanning Rail Transport Limited, and the official website is http://www.nngdjt.com/ .
Nanning Metro Line 1 (under construction)
The Nanning Metro Line 1 starts at Shibu Station (石埠站) in the west and ends at Nanning East Railway Station (南宁东站) in the east, with a totall length of 32.1 km and 25 metro stations. The line will start operation in 2016.

Metro Line 2 (under construction)
The Nanning Metro Line 2 starts at Xijin Station (西津站) in the north and ends at Yudong Station (南玉洞站) in the south, with a totall length of 21.2 km. The line is estimated to open service in 2017.
