Phase 1: The High-Speed Rail Marathon from Xiamen
You have two primary options for HSR departure in Xiamen, but your destination in Fuzhou is fixed.
- Departure Stations:
- Xiamen North Railway Station (Xiamenbei 厦门北站): Located outside the city center, but offers the most frequent and fastest trains. It is directly connected to Xiamen Metro Line 1.
- Xiamen Railway Station (厦门站): Located closer to downtown, offering direct trains but potentially fewer options or slightly longer travel times.
- Arrival Station (Crucial): Book your ticket to Fuzhou Railway Station (福州站). This is the only station that is the official starting point of the F1 Binhai Express Line, ensuring the easiest transfer.
- If you finally arrive at Fuzhou South Station (Fuzhounan), it requires you to make a transfer from Line 5 to Binhai Express.
