Which Station for High Speed Trains?
Beijing West: The high speed train from Beijing to Xi’an is using Beijing West Railway Station (BeijingXi, 北京西), which can be reached by metro line 7 and line 9.
Xi’an North: The high speed train from Xi’an to Beijing is using Xi’an North Railway Station (Xi’anBei, 西安北) located in Weiyang District, which is over 10 km north of Xi’an city center, and connected with the downtown of Xi’an by metro line 2 (at Bei KeZhan, 北客站). There is also a bus stop called Xi’an North Bus stop (火车北客站, see at Baidu Street Map) in front of Xi’an North, where you can take the No. 360 and 727 bus to leave or arrive at Xi’an North Railway Station.
Note: Beijing has several train stations in operation for passenger service: Beijing Railway Station (Beijing Main), Beijing South, Beijing West and Beijing North (Do not mix them), while Xi’an has Xi’an Railway Station and Xi’an North Railway Station.
