Getting from Shanghai to Hengdian
As of September 6, 2024, the Hangzhou-Wenzhou high-speed rail line has been operational, marking the opening of the Hengdian Railway Station. While there isn’t a direct high-speed train from Shanghai to Hengdian yet, travelers can easily make a connection at Yiwu (Shanghai – Yiwu – Hengdian).
By the end of 2024, a direct high-speed train from Shanghai to Hengdian is expected to be available.

- Shanghai to Yiwu: Board a high-speed train from Shanghai to Yiwu. The journey typically takes about 2 hours.
- Yiwu to Hengdian: From Yiwu, catch another high-speed train to Hengdian Railway Station, which usually takes around 15 minutes.
