Songpan Railway Station, which is just 6km from Songpan Ancient City, begun operation on August 30, 2024, with trains to or from Chengdu East, Chengdu West, Huanglongjiuzhai Station, Emeishan, as well as Shuangliu Airport.It serves as a good transfer point to Songpan Ancient City, Jiuzhaigou, Huanglong, and Mounigou.
If you are heading to Huanglong Scenic Area from Songpan Railway Station, you can consider catching a tourists through bus, which takes about 70 minutes and costs you 33 yuan. The through buses are awaiting you outside everytime when a train reaches at Songpan Railway Station.
Please be noted Huanglongjiuzhai Railway Station is the nearest railway station to both Huanglong Scenic Area & Jiuzhaigou Valley, and it also offers bus connection to Jiuzhaigou Valley and Huanglong.

Outsie the Songpan Railway Station, there are tourist through bus running to or from Jiuzhaigou Valley, and Huanglong Scenic Area.
- Through bus from Songpan Station to Huanglong, 1 hour & 33 yuan.
- Through bus from Songpan Railway Station to Jiuzhaigou: 2h18 mins & 56 yuan.
Unfortunately, at the time of writing, Jack can not find any online ticket booking service for the bus route from Songpan Station to Jiuzhaigou or Huanglong, or vice verse. I will add it if it has been available.
