The introduction of the Nanchang-Jingdezhen-Huangshan high-speed railway at the end of 2023 will make it easier to travel between Hefei and Yixian (Yi County) as well as Huangshan. With high-speed trains running from Hefei South Station to Yixian East Station (Yixiandong), which is conveniently located just 3 km away from Xidi Village and 15 km from Hongcun Village, travelers can now conveniently reach these popular tourist destinations. This new transportation option will greatly enhance the accessibility to these attractions, providing visitors with a faster and more convenient way to explore and appreciate the stunning landscapes of these scenic locations.

Nanchang – Jingdezhen – Huangshan HSR
The Nanchang-Jingdezhen-Huangshan High-Speed Railway is a high-speed railway that connects Nanchang and Jingdezhen in Jiangxi Province with Huangshan & Yixian in Anhui Province. It has 10 stations, including Nanchang East and Nanchang West, Jiangxi’s Jinxian North, Yugan, Poyang, Le’an North, Jingdezhen North, Fuliang East, Qimen South, Yixian East and Huangshan North stations. The designed operating speed is 350 km/h.
Yixian East Railway Station
It boasts an extremely ideal location, with Xidi Stone Forest Scenic Area just about 1 kilometer away, Xidi Ancient Villages about 3 kilometers away, Hongcun Ancient Village Scenic Area about 15 kilometers away, and Qiyun Mountain Scenic Area about 10 kilometers away. When to Buy Tickets
Tickets can be booked up to 15 days on the official 12306 China Railway website. It is always advisable to buy tickets in advance to secure ticket availability or seat assignment. Ticets tend to sell out quickly especially during the bussy travel peak period, such as the public National Days (Gold Week), Labour’s Days, Chinese Moon Festival or Qingming Festival.
