Huzhou East Railway Station

Huzhou East Railway Station (Huzhoudong Railway Station) is a major railway station on the Shanghai-Huzhou-Suzhou High-Speed Railway, located in Yinjia Wei Village, Balidian Town, Wuxing District, Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province. The station covers an area of about 16,000 square meters and has 3 platforms with 7 tracks, with an estimated annual passenger volume of around 4 million in the future.
Huzhou East Railway Station is about 12.2 km from city center of Huzhou City, and it is schedule to open in late 2024, together with the Shanghai – Suzhou – Huzhou Railway.

Note: The city of Huzhou will have 3 major train stations: the old one Huzhou Railway Station, and the new Huzhou East Station and Huzhou Nanxun Station.

Connection with Surrounding Cities

After its completion and operation in late 2024, Huzhou East Station will become a transportation hub connecting Huzhou with surrounding cities such as Huzhou Nanxun, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Suzhou, and Nanjing, and more cities.

Shanghai-Suzhou-Huzhou High-Speed Railway

The Shanghai-Suzhou-Huzhou High-Speed Railway is an intercity railway that connects Shanghai and Huzhou. The line starts from Shanghai Hongqiao Station, passes through Songjiang District to enter Wujiang District, Suzhou City, and finally arrives in Huzhou City. The entire line has nine stations: Shanghai Hongqiao Station, Songjiang South Station, Shihu Dang Station, Liantang Station, Suzhou South Station (also known as Fenhu Station), Shengze Station, Nanxun Station, Huzhou East Station (included in the Huzhou-Hangzhou Railway project), and Huzhou Station. The main line is 163.54 kilometers long, with a design speed of 350 km/h.
