How to Travel Between Chongqing East Railway Station and Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street

If you’re arriving Chongqing East and heading to Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street—the bustling heart of the city—or vice versa, the metro system offers the most efficient and hassle-free option.
From Chongqing East Railway Station to Jiefangbei
Recommended Route: Metro Line 6 (Direct)
- Board Metro Line 6 at Chongqing East Railway Station. The metro station is directly connected to the railway station, so no exit transfers are needed.
- Ride the train for approximately 40 minutes until you reach Xiaoshizi Station (Line 6). This station is close to Jiefangbei.
- Walk 900 meters (10–12 minutes) from Xiaoshizi Station to Jiefangbei.
